We have two eclipse happening this month. On August 12th we have a Solar Eclipse in the sign of Leo, then on the 28th right at the tail end of August we have a Lunar Eclipse happening in the sign of Pisces. Eclipses are funny things. I always call them astrological wormholes because they take us from one reality to a new reality in the blink of an eye. Not only do they impact us now but their energy will play out for the next six months and finally in February of 2026 we will see the results of what is happening now. The Solar Eclipse in Leo will fall in your third house. The Sun and Jupiter are already there. So a lot of energy around communication. A great time to give a talk, teach a class or write a book. You want to share your ideas and be listened to. This house is also one that is all about siblings and extended family. You might entertain family in some way or celebrate a milestone. This looks joyful.

 

Mercury begins the month in Cancer and your second house. It doesn’t stay there for long as it moves into your third house on the 10th and stays there the rest of the month. Leo is a bold sign and so your speech may be a bit more assertive than usual. The sign of The Lion is also very creative and so this is a good time to write and you may up with some very imaginative stories. All this energy lighting up the third can bring about a good case of ‘new car fever’. You can fall in love with that new car smell and come home with a shiny new toy.

 

With Neptune and Saturn both sitting in your eleventh house they are going to reach out to the Sun and Jupiter and all will work well together. There may be some kind of help from friends and isn’t that nice? Venus moves into Libra on the 7th of August and stays there in your fifth house for the rest of August. Venus is in the fourth for that first week and so the first week of the month is a good time to make peace in life with any relative you might be on the outs with. You want to redecorate your home and make it more beautiful and welcoming. But once Venus makes its move it will bring in a new energy for dating and fun time. Enjoy yourself.
