The sign of The Goat is doing something very un-Capricorn like this month and that is being very good to yourself. Cap is all about working hard and doing the right thing. They are not known for a hard partying lifestyle and ignoring responsibilities. But Venus wants to play and have a good time. Plus, Jupiter is also there and the two together are bringing up all kinds of desires to kick back and enjoy life. The seventh house is one that is all about love, marriage and romance. This is also a very social area of the chart. So you want to be around friends and find yourself accepting invitations and even planning your own social activities. Invite some friends over and have a BBQ. Plan some kind of party to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. The seventh house loves to indulge oneself. Right is when you want to buy yourself something pretty that you deserve. There may be expensive restaurants or high-end clothes. Maybe you decide you deserve a reading or a treat of some kind. So I am going to say enjoy. Allow yourself a bit of fun. Venus will be here until the end of the month, not leaving until the 26th. Jupiter on the other hand will stay here until this time next year. So it is a year of dating and romantic activity. Plan a trip or a cruise and take some time to stop and smell the roses.

If Jupiter and Venus want to be out and about, The Sun and Mercury want to be private. Mercury begins August still retrograde, but on the 11th Mercury will finally turn direct. While retrograde, be sure to double-check all bank statements and financial paperwork. You have your mind of money. How to make it, how to spend it and how to invest it. Sometimes I see some kind of gift or monetary increase when planets visit here. But the eighth house is all about going within. We seek deeper answers to life’s questions. A great time for any kind of therapy or counseling as you are ready to look within. Sometimes we get serious and start to look at issues related to life and death. This may be the month when you buy a burial plot or talk to a lawyer about your estate. On the 23rd the Sun moves into Virgo and some of this energy deflates. As Mars moves into the tenth house on the 7th you are looking at your career and future opportunities.
