Happy New Year! I love the beginning of January for Capricorn. You begin 2026 with the Sun, Venus and Mars all sitting pretty in your first house of self. Mercury joins the mix on the 21st. So lots of coming and going with planets sitting in your very own sign. But Mercury does spend most of January in your twelfth house. This is good news for your intuitive development. Trust those gut feelings as Mercury here amps up your psychic abilities to a high degree. But your thinking will be a bit fuzzy and not as clear as usual, so you might want to ask for a friend to look over your conclusions and decisions and let you know what they think.

 

The big news for January is that Neptune is finally going to change signs and move out of the sign of Pisces, after being there more than a decade, and moves into the sign of Aries. We go from cloudy energies to kick a** and take names tones. Neptune will now be visiting your fourth house of home and family. This can bring about a very loving energy with friends and family. Neptune is a sign of confusion and illusion. This can show up with a family member having trouble with cognitive issues. Or it can be a friend or family member that is not being open and honest with you. If you decide to buy a house, then make sure you get a lawyer and do not sign anything without legal advice. We have dreams that start to show up and may be from your early childhood. This can also show up in terms of food and weight. This is where we lie to ourselves. “Oh this dessert doesn’t count” or “one beer won’t hurt”. Be extra careful about what you are eating and drinking.

 

Venus moves into Aquarius and your second house on the 18th of the month. Venus usually brings some kind of blessing and isn’t it nice that it is bringing that in terms of your money and income. Accept graciously. The Sun also moves into this same house on the 21st and Mars brings up the rear on the 24th. So as the month progresses you become more aware and focused on income and prosperity.
